Year 10 Discover Some of the Most Charming Landmarks in Portugal

The oldest students in the school said goodbye to the school year with a trip to Portugal.
They had the opportunity to discover some of the most popular landmarks in our neighbouring country.

Among the landmarks visited by our students were Coimbra and its magnificent university, which is the oldest university in Portugal; Caldas da Rainha beaches, Lisbon and its main attractions (Praça do Comércio, Torre de Belém, the Monument of the Discoveries and Jerónimos Monastery); Nazaré and the Monastery of Batalha and its fantastic stained glass windows.

Our students also had some free time. The visits to Lisbon oceanarium, Pechiche and to the Berlenga archipelago made possible for our students to enjoy the nature and the coast. There, they were able to see some unique animal and vegetable species and a stunning idyllic landscape.
