Students from de first year of Secondary went last weekend on their end of year trip. Their destination: the “Way of Saint James”, a fabulous experience of coexistence that they will never forget. With this learning experience, we would like our students to develop awareness of the cultural value of the “Way of Saint James” and its meaning in terms of a unique cultural, patrimonial and ecological heritage.
Over three days, Y7 students visited emblematic places, such as the Castle of San Paio de Narla in Friol, the pilgrim hospital and the Church of Santa Maria in Melide, the school farm and the Cheese Museum in Sobrado (Arzua), the lagoon of Sobrado dos Monxes and the Plaza del Obradoiro, the cathedral in Santiago and its emblematic streets.
We hope you enjoyed it Y7!
