Rugby grows at OCBS

The practice of rugby is consolidated among the students of O Castro British School through an extra-curricular that each academic year gains more followers. The activity, aimed at students of Y2 and Y3 as well as students from Y4 to Y6, allows an introduction to a traditionally British sport, whose origin goes back to the private schools of the 19th century.

In addition, to perform a very demanding physical exercise, rugby is a sport that promotes values such as passion, solidarity, teamwork, camaraderie, respect and a lot of discipline.

The students of this extracurricular activity do two weekly sessions of one hour and quarter in the school facilities. Although, If they wish they can extend the training with a session in the Vigo Rugby Club on Saturdays and participate in official competitions.
