The Sports Hall of O Castro British School hosted on Tuesday, June 5, the Graduation Ceremony of Year 6. Undoubtedly one of the most emotional moments of their academic career and shared with family members, management team, teachers and colleagues of the school.
Mari Carmen Vázquez, founder of the first British school in the city, was responsible for opening the ceremony, with an emotional speech that was preceded by the Head Teacher, Mr. Nathan Parry and the Deputy Head Teacher, Mr. Keith Bailey.
To the rhythm of I'm still standing, the Elton John, the students of the last year of Primary of OCBS started with the ceremonial presentation of ties and certificates and received some last and warm words of their teachers before starting the adventure of Secondary.
The Year 6 students dismissed the act with a beautiful instrumental version of Edward Elgar's piece Pomp and Circumstance Graduation March and the beautiful song The best day of my life. Congratulations to everyone!
