O Castro British School pays tribute to Cervantes and Shakespeare

Marking the 400th anniversary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes and William Shakespeare, which is one of the most important events of this decade, the educational community of O Castro British School has paid tribute to the literary legacy of these two great geniuses of world literature.

Teachers and school staff have carried out today endless activities, inside and outside the classroom, in order to bring the students closer to the legacy of these two leading figures of world literature.

Readings and recitations, short plays like the classic "Romeo and Juliet" performed by Reception students, dialogues between characters, an introduction of Cervantes performed brilliantly by Year 8 students, artistic activities, costumes and portrayals, food, music, traditional games, online games or a workshop on "Don Quixote" quotes were some of the activities that took place in O Castro British School today.
