Next Tuesday, 6th of February, O Castro British School will hold the V British Education Day, under de title “Early Years Education, under discussion”, at the Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia Events Hall, located in García Barbón 62, at 7pm.
In its 5th consecutive edition, the talks have settled as one of the unmissable event, not only for the teaching community, but also for any other person interested in the British model of education.
Why choose a British school for our children? Which are its main characteristics and advantages compared to other models of education? These are some of the questions that our experts in education will answer, especially in relation to the first school years, as the Early Years stage will be the guiding thread in the current edition.
Furthermore, we will count with the presence of Javier Tirapu, National Prize in Neuroscience. He is an accredited and well known neuroscientist that, in his talk “Executive intelligence and its implications in Early Years education”, will go through the importance of valuing and encouraging the decision making capacity of our children from a very early age, as the best way of motivation, in order to persevere to create a better life for themselves, their life, their future, which will depend on the addition of the small decisions made in the present.
As usual, in this event, a simultaneous translation service will be available. At the end, we will offer some Spanish wine to all the assistants. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
