The day started early for our students. At nine, they gathered together at the school, where they head teacher was waiting for them.
During the welcome meeting – and once the presentations were over – each of our students was given the class timetable for the current week. The children took off with their new classmates, who showed them around the building and directed them to their classes.
In the afternoon students and teachers visited the famous mills of Avoca and Glendelough, an early medieval monastic settlement founded in the 6th century by St. Kevin.
It was a long and exciting day... In the evening everybody had time to relax in their new homes and became familiar with the neighbourhood.
