Educational Psychologist

Educational psychologists are trained teachers who have extra qualifications and experience in children´s development, behaviour and learning.

The educational psychologists will

  • Help children make progress by looking at the kinds of teaching and learning they need. They work with pupils and parents for the best results.
  • Advise on how to help children with Special Educational Needs achieve more and feel properly included.
  • Work with small groups of pupils.
  • Support the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), the Head teacher and others by helping to identify things that will improve teaching and learning.
